Here’s our process:

1. Complete the Application
   Fill out our online adoption application by clicking the button above. This helps our team learn more about your household, lifestyle, and the type of pet that may be the best fit for your home.
2. Application Review
   Once your application is submitted, our team will carefully review it to ensure each pet is placed in the best possible environment. This process may include:
   • Reference checks
   • Veterinary references
   • Landlord approval (if applicable)
   • Home visit or virtual home check
   • The review process may take several days depending on application volume, but these extra steps help ensure successful long-term placements for both pets and families.
3. Meet Your Potential Pet
   If your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet between your family and the pet. This gives everyone an opportunity to interact and determine whether it feels like the right match. After the meeting, we ask adopters to contact us within 24–48 hours with their decision.
4. Adoption Finalization or Trial Period
   If it’s a great fit, we will finalize the adoption and help coordinate bringing your new pet home. In some cases, a short trial period may be arranged to ensure both the pet and adopter adjust comfortably. If the match is not the right fit, our team will gladly help recommend other animals that may better suit your home and lifestyle.

Adoption Fees & Veterinary Care

Adoption fees help cover a portion of the medical care and support each rescue animal receives while in our program. Before adoption, pets are:

• Spayed or neutered
• Vaccinated
• Examined by a veterinarian
• Microchipped
• Given necessary medical treatment and care
